"DZU" with the Municipal Investor Award 2024 from the National Association of Municipalities in Bulgaria
The award was presented to the two executive directors of DZU AD - Ivan Zlatev and Eng. Yordan Stoyanov, by the Minister of Regional Development and Public Works, Violeta Koritarova-Kasabova. DZU AD, owned by the Hungarian company Videoton Holding, was recognized for its investment in a new manufacturing facility in the Municipality of Stara Zagora, dedicated to the production of printed circuit boards for the automotive industry. The honorary certificate was signed by Daniel Panov, Chairman of the Board of Directors of NAMBC and Mayor of Veliko Tarnovo for four consecutive terms, along with Silvia Georgieva, Executive Director of NAMBC.
“We are grateful that Stara Zagora Municipality selected our company and presented our candidacy for the NAMBC prize. We received understanding and support from the local administration, and we work together very well,” noted Ivan Zlatev, one of the executive directors of DZU AD. The new manufacturing facility for printed circuit boards for the automotive industry was officially opened at DZU AD’s site in Stara Zagora on June 27, 2024, coinciding with another significant event—a celebration of 25 years of Videoton's presence in Bulgaria. The investment amounts to nearly 9 million euros, including a production area of 7,000 sq. m. and state-of-the-art equipment that meets all modern requirements.
