Eleventh graders from the Vocational High School of Electrical Engineering and Technology "Georgi S. Rakovski" – Stara Zagora, led by their teacher in special subjects – Mrs. Siika Nikolova, visited VIDEOTON Bulgaria. The purpose of the visit was both to supplement the theoretical knowledge by sharing practical experience from specialists of a leading industrial company in a real working environment, as well as career guidance for future specialists.

The pupils from the specialty "Mechatronics" got acquainted with VIDEOTON Bulgaria through an interesting presentation, which presented the main areas of work, the technologies used, and the opportunities for professional realization.

At the beginning of the visit, a short but important safety briefing was held - a mandatory element of each visit. After that, the young people had the opportunity to explore the production premises, observe key production processes, and see modern equipment and technologies in action.

Our experienced specialists presented the various aspects of our activity – from the more traditional ones such as the production of thermoplastic and thermosetting parts for various products, through the design and production of tooling, the electromechanical assembly of electrical products for industrial and domestic purposes, to the high-tech saturation and assembly of printed circuit boards.

The visit was extremely useful and motivating for the students, who received a valuable insight into modern industrial production and the opportunities for professional development that await them after completing their training.
