Curious Students Peek into the Heart of the Industry

Ninth and tenth graders from the “John Atanasoff” Vocational High School of Electronics in Stara Zagora visited VIDEOTON Bulgaria. The visit aimed to give them firsthand experience with the high-tech production processes involved in the soldering and assembly of printed circuit boards at one of our companies (VEAS Bulgaria) and to introduce them to the real-world aspects of the electronics industry.

The inquisitive students, specializing in "Computer Technology and Engineering" and "Computer Networks," are members of the school’s interest-based club “Fun Electronics,” where they prepare for various competitions and work on the development of their practical skills under the guidance of their dedicated teacher, Mrs. Kraleva.

During the visit, the young enthusiasts had the opportunity to follow each stage of the soldering and assembly processes of printed circuit boards designed for both industrial and consumer products of globally recognized brands. The students showed great interest not only in the production facilities but also in the storage areas, where they learned how warehouse processes and programs operate, how logistics activities are organized in a high-tech company, and how vital every specialist’s role is in ensuring products are manufactured and delivered to clients on time.

A touching moment of the visit was the unexpected reunion between the group leader, Mrs. Kraleva, and one of her former students, now a successful professional and our colleague. This heartfelt meeting became living proof that persistence in school and a passion for electronics can open the doors to a successful professional future.
