Logistics manager
We are looking to recruit on a labor contract a "Logistics manager" with:
MAIN FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES:
Manage and organize the development of long-term and operational schedules for the delivery of goods and materials by type and quantity;
Conducts research, evaluation and audits of suppliers - potential and current;
Manage and organize work related to contracts for the supply of goods and materials;
Proposes necessary changes to contracts for the supply of goods and materials and seek liquidated damages for non-compliance;
Orders materials and supplies required for the proper functioning of all units and departments in the company. Monitors timely delivery and requests a plan of action from suppliers as needed;
Ensures correct maintenance of quality records and documentation required by the QMS, thereby ensuring accountability of activities;
Receives customer requests in the ERP system that reflects their specific requirements. Monitors for variance between forecast and actual orders, alerting customers when necessary;
Plans production according to customer orders and pre-set stock levels. On a daily basis to monitor realization, request improvement plan if required;
Prepares weekly plans for expected shipments, sending them to all concerned departments in a timely manner;
Monitors the consistency between the physical stock in the warehouse of raw materials, materials and finished goods, and those in the ERP system;
Prepares all documents required for import as well as those for export (pick list, invoice, lieferschein);
Coordinates communications with customs offices, and personally implements them when necessary;
Directs and supervises the work of departmental staff and warehouse workers;
REQUIREMENTS FOR APPLICANTS:
1. Education – economic/technical university
2. Professional experience - 5 years in logistics
3. Additional qualifications - very good skills in MS Office, excellent command of English
4. Other specific knowledge and skills:
* Handling of technological and technical documentation concerning materials, goods and spare parts;
* Knowledge of the current customs and tax legislation in the Republic of Bulgaria;
* Knowledge of work instructions, control methods and procedures directly relevant to his/her activity;
5. Personal qualities - strong communication skills, team working skills and ability to work effectively under pressure.
